Thrace Region Tourism

The Trakia Tourism Region / Thrace region tourism/, a public benefit non-profit organisation, was established on 21 April 2010. Its headquarters and registered address is in Plovdiv, at the Tourist Information Centre, 1 Central Square. The Trakia Tourism Region's current Chairman of the Board is Lyubozar Fratev, Chairman of the Tourism Council - Plovdiv. At present there are 36 members of the organisation, of which 24 municipalities in six regions, five non-governmental organisations, three companies, two schools and two individuals. The Trakia Tourism Region was registered as a non-profit organisation at the Plovdiv District Court by Resolutions No.319 of 03.06.2010 and No. 339 of 14.06.2010. The Trakia Tourism Region is registered in the National Tourism Register. It is the second tourist area established in the country.
